Widecombe Pre-school is a charity managed by a committee of trustees, elected at the AGM from parents of pre-schoolers and toddlers. The committee is responsible for managing the setting's finances, supporting & managing the staff, making sure that the setting has and follows policies that help it to provide a high quality service. The Committee meets once a month to discuss the running of the Pre-School, Fundraising and the organisation of Pre-School events. The Pre-school must comply with its registration with Ofsted and ensure that the setting works in partnership with parents. We hope that all families will be involved in some way by joining the management committee and/or supporting the pre-school fundrasing activites; fathers and other family members are encouraged to take part as well; the committee and fundraising activies isnt just for mums.
