A Day at Pre-School...
Our Pre-School days are a fun and relaxed environment full of exploring and learning through play. Our sessions are run through our Church House indoor space, the garden and sensory garden and our Outdoor Classroom set in a nearby field. We get out for walks as much as possible and make the most of our wonderful rural setting.
Breakfast
We start every morning with breakfast. We offer brown toast with butter and a selection of toppings. This calm start to our mornings is a fantastic welcome into the setting and helps to bring a calm and welcoming environment.
Snack
We offer a range of seasonal fruit and vegetables or a biscuit accompanied with either water or milk.
Packed Lunches
We encourage you to provide a healthy packed lunch for your child.

Timetable
TUESDAY & FRIDAY
9:15 Meet and greet children and parents. Children are encouraged to put their lunch bags, bags and coats away and to find and hang up their wooden name tags on the wall before heading upstairs to breakfast.
9:30 Registration and Circle time.
9:40 Free play and activities
10:30 Toilet/Hand Washing and then Snack
10:50 Free play and activities
11:45 Morning children get picked up
12:00 Tidy up, Toilet/Hand Washing and then Lunch
12:45 Greet Afternoon children. Registration and Circle time. Story.
13:00 Free play
14:20 Tidy up time
14:30 Tidy up, Toilet/Hand Washing and then Snack
14:45 Songs and Stories
15:00 Home time
WEDNESDAY
9:15 Meet and greet children and parents. Children are encouraged to put their lunch bags, bags and coats away and to find and hang up their wooden name tags on the wall. Children to arrive in their waterproof clothing and stay downstairs.
9:30 Registration and prep. children for the outdoor classroom.
9:45 Arrive at the outdoor classroom. Free play and activities. Approximate time... walk can take longer depending on numbers of puddles to splash in, conkers to collect, climbing and other adventures!
10:30 Campfire snack.
10:50 Free Play and activities.
12:00 Lunch (In poor weather we will return to church house earlier for lunch)
12:30 Walk back to Church House
12:45 Home time.
Thinking of joining us...
We encourage parents and children to join us for an hour or so of a session as many times as you like ahead of settling your child in to join us. This allows for you to see how our days run and for your child to get used to the setting and us. You can email or call to arrange a time to join us!
